A must watch: Christine on TV
Not many things move me to tears, but right now I am drying my eyes. I mentioned Miracle Survivor Christine Dittmann in past posts (see my Sept. 15 post Losing a Battle?)
Christine, whose story will be in my book, sent me this link to a local newscast awarding her as an “Unsung Hero.” She was recognized for creating and producing a newsletter for an ovarian cancer support group in her hometown of New Orleans. It just reaffirms my opinion that Christine is an incredible survivor. I feel honored to know her and her story. I recommend taking a few minutes to view the story. It will definitely be worth your time.

Tami,
What a courageous, upbeat, positive spirit you have. I’ve been reading some of your posts this morning and you’ve hit quite an emotional chord here. I have known many friends who have battled breast cancer for years and despite all odds. You remind me of them.
My friends’ experiences have reaffirmed for me the importance of love and family, and of times with those special people.
Your posts gave me a gift too, a moment to think of those special people who have not won their cancer battle but who – while away from my daily world now – are absolutely a part of my own fibre, my soul and my thoughts.
My prayers are with you. You have all of your readers pulling for you.
Thank you for such a great blog and for sharing your heart as you do.
Be well.
