Florida in January anyone? And it’s a great conference, too.

The conference includes organic meals and snacks. Yum!

I just spoke to the founder of the Annie Appleseed Project Ann Fonfa, who happens to be a miracle survivor. More than 15 years ago, Ann was told she had Stage IV breast cancer. Today she is cancer-free and is helping millions of people with the Annie Appleseed Project, whose mission is to bring complimentary cancer therapies to the mainstream.

I am registered to attend their third annual  Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Cancer Therapies conference (aka CAM for Cancer). It’s being held January 7-9, 2010 in West Palm Beach, FL.

Thank you to Pink Ribbon Girls, my breast cancer support group, who are footing the bill so I can share what I learn from the conference with other members. I also want to thank founder Ann Fonfa, who is offering a scholarship for my attendance. You’ll learn more about Ann, the conference and her wonderful organization over the next few days. By the way, Ann has agreed to share her remarkable story in my book, From Incurable to Incredible!

In the meantime, here’s a link to the conference site with all the details: http://annieappleseedproject.stores.yahoo.net/3rdanevcoca.html

CEUs are being offered to nurses, mental health professionals, massage therapists and acupuncturists. The conference fee includes all breakout sessions, four organic meals and up to $80 worth of free samples. And did I mention it’s in Florida … in January? Yoga by the pool anyone?

If you sign up, let me know! I’d love to meet some of the great people following this blog!
