Off to Florida!

Hey, I'll be in workshops all day!
It’s freezing here, so I’m really looking forward to spending a few days in Florida for the Annie Appleseed Complementary and Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference. I’m eager to learn more about ways I can empower myself and others to live a long and healthy life. A big thanks to my support group, Pink Ribbon Girls, for sponsoring my trip.
I might have to pry my white-knuckled hands from my keyboard, however, to get on the plane. I’ve made a commitment to get my book, From Incurable to Incredible, finished in the next couple of months. I met with my editor and friend Beth Franks yesterday to hand off the part of the manuscript I’ve finished.
We talked about a timeline, and we’re targeting the end of February to get it to the publisher. My goal is to launch the book by spring. It’s pretty exciting, and daunting, too, but I’m putting my intention out there and hoping it sticks! I am still struggling to find the perfect cover image, so any ideas would help!
I will try to post from the conference, but I may be out of commission for a few days. Even so, I’ll make sure to blog about the highlights of the conference when I get back. To all of you in the northern regions, keep warm. I’ll soon be back and shivering with you!
