From the very start of this journey we were in a fog that some may call denial but i think it was no more than our commitment from the first day to do whatever it is that we have to do to make it better. meeting all those appointments and getting more than one opinion even if you're happy with the first. When you have done all u can humanly do , you prey and prey some more. we have a small town that has bent over backwards to make our trip as conveniant as possible. Youll never know how much it was appriciated.. we love u all. and to shannon: even i am amazed by your strength having wittnessed it first hand. i love u..

Thanks everyone for your comments. I am glad these stories are inspiring you, Sam, and I'm definitely going to have to start on that second book after this one is out!

Tami,
Your effort here is helping many people- I think you will have to do a second book. I am very moved by Shannon's story.
By reading your blog and having my faith re-affirmed, I find myself remembering to be grateful, every day. thanks.

Shannon you have become an amazing person and I am so proud of you. You have shown your faith in many ways and times and you will continue as you continue to witness to many, many people. God's plan for you is just beginning. I traveled a similiar path and I am a 25 year cancer survivor. I love you and God Bless you.

Shannon through your mother, I knew about your cancer and continued to pray for you every day. And she kept me updated on you. Through Jesus Christ you were a survivor, Praise the Lord, and I know you do everyday. God Bless you and your family for being there for you

I know that you can't possibly fit everyone's survival story into your book, but do keep sharing as many as you can on your blog! The hope and inspiration that each story gives is what this world needs! Thank you!
