A review/life lesson from Terry McBride

Terry chronicled his own triumph over an "incurable" disease in his book, The Hell I Can't.
First of all, I wanted to thank everyone who left such lovely, encouraging comments on yesterday’s post. I feel so blessed to have so many supportive people around me. I started this blog to help others; little did I know how much it would help me!
With my doctor visits out of the way, I am ready to focus on the most important things in my life: God, my family and friends, and the release of From Incurable to Incredible.
Yesterday, we booked flights to Salt Lake City for July. I am going to attend a breast cancer retreat in Park City, then arrange a book event in Salt Lake with Evan Mattingly, one of the wonderful survivors in my book who lives there. We will top off the vacation with a first-time trip to Zion National Park.
Speaking of the book (aren’t I always?), here is Terry McBride’s wonderful review that I promised to share in yesterday’s post. As you’ll see, he also offers wonderful advice from his own remarkable journey:
From Incurable to Incredible is a wonderful compilation of true stories of people who in one way or another created the health they wanted in the face of what most thought were insurmountable odds. As one who healed what experts said was an incurable disease, I was touched and reminded through Tami’s book of the power we all have to create the reality we desire.
The healings related in these stories take many forms. The various approaches differ in what was done, and there is a common thread that runs through each story. First, each individual in their own way said NO to the negative prognosis of “incurable.” But saying no is not enough. Each of the individuals began saying YES to what they wanted to create. They moved forward toward health and wellness.
From personal experience, I know it can be difficult to stay focused on health and healing when one is engulfed with sickness, pain, and fear. And as these stories show us, we must never give up. Sometimes we start with only a hope, but if we persist and study, we can learn how to create the reality we desire. Tami Boehmer proved that in her own healing. You can do that, too. Love yourself and step forth with a faith knowing, “all things are possible if only you believe.”
